Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God (John 3:5, KJV)

There are two spheres of existence that God created. They are the physical and spiritual worlds. As believers, our victory lies in the fact that we can access spiritual resources and bring them into the natural world. Maybe a little practical example will illustrate why this is so critical for us to understand as Christians.

Think about healing for a moment. If someone is diagnosed with a form of fatal cancer that has no medical treatment, there is nothing else we can do but wait for this disease to take its course and end that person’s life. However, though there is no natural medical treatment, there is spiritual power available in God’s world to treat that illness. The problem we are facing is how to access that power and bring it to help us in this natural world!

There is a gateway to access the spiritual resources from God available in the spirit realm. When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden, that gate was closed. Access was blocked. Man thereafter had to live a purely animal life without spiritual resources. And when we get interested in spiritual things, it is the demonic that is introduced to us and not the divine. However, when Jesus came, everything changed. He says above that when someone becomes born again, he or she is granted access into the kingdom. In other words, that ancient gate that was closed opens up. That person can now access the realm of the supernatural to take advantage of spiritual resources to rule over the impossible situations that life throws at them.

The good news is that the gate has opened up to you. You are born again. Access has been granted to you! 

MEDITATE

Declare that “I am born of the Spirit and therefore has access to the treasures of the kingdom of God”.

APPLY THE WORD

The gateway to the supernatural, God’s world, is open before you. By the new birth, you have been given access to God. The ball is now in your court to learn to make use of what is yours. Grow spiritually, and start bringing heaven to subdue the earthly challenges you are facing.

PRAY

Thank the Lord for the blessing of the new birth and the access granted to you.
