God’s Will for Your Life Now Clear For you to See

Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? (Jn. 14:9 KJV)

The Lord has revealed Himself to humanity in different ways so that we can know who He really is and what He wants from us. Is God loving, judgmental, kind, etc.? What is His will for your life?

God has now revealed who He is, and what He wants from us in the Person of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the visible and practical revelation of what God looks like. This revelation of God was not merely by the teachings that He gave. He did not have classes to teach the people about the Father, though these sermons also taught us about Him. The Father, however, was revealed in the Person of Jesus. His very life, the way He interacted with people, what He wanted for people, what He was pleased and displeased with, etc are the total and complete revelation of what God really looks like.

What was Jesus’s reaction to sickness, poverty, demons, etc? Did He ever refuse to heal anyone who came to Him because of some reason only He knows? What did He do when His disciples had a material need? Did He tell them they did not need these “worldly things”?. Jesus’s earthly life on earth is the most significant revelation of the Person of God humanity has ever had. However, the people who saw Him during His earthly life could not receive that revelation at the time because they did not have the Spirit. Today, His human life is documented for us in the Word to see Him still. Look at Jesus, and His life has volumes to teach you about the Father.
