This is your season for God’s favor
Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. (Ps. 102:13 KJV)
Jesus has brought God’s favor upon us. The scripture above tells us that the set time to favor Zion, the people of God, has come. That implies the favor of God that we enjoy today has not always been available. Israel did not enjoy this favor, because the set time had not yet come.
The scripture says in 2 Corinthians 6:2 that “For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation”. The “time accepted” means the season of God’s favor. We are living in the accepted time right now! This is the season of grace. It is a season that we should “therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Heb. 4:16 KJV). This favor is not in reference only to spiritual things, but includes everything that concerns us, whether spiritual or physical, from your finance, health, and relationships to your spiritual life and ministry. Go boldly to the throne. It is a throne of grace, where “no good thing will He withhold” from you in Christ (Ps 84:11). It is your season for favor in every aspect of your life.
MEDITATE
Ponder and mutter the key verse above until it soaks your spirit and becomes one with you. Declare out loud again and again that “it is my season for divine favor in every aspect of my life”.
PRAY
Isn’t it fitting to thank the Lord for this wonderful grace brought to us? Offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving to the Lord.
ACT NOW!
You need to respond to God’s Word to make it work. You activate favor by faith, which is essentially doing the Word. Believe that God’s favor for you is here and now. Then expect to see that favor. Thank Him for it. Favor is not “wishful thinking”, but the practical experience of God’s goodness. Believe and expect to see that goodness. Start thanking Him right now for the favor you have seen, and will begin to see, in every aspect of your life-this is faith in itself!
