Above all that we ask or think

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us (Ephesians 3:20 KJV)

Yesterday, our devotional was about the infinite ability of God to meet our needs over and beyond. Let me continue with the same verse and share something quite astonishing from the words “above all that we ask or think”.

We ask God in prayer to meet our needs, whether personal or the need of another person we are interceding for. We have different types of needs, spiritual and natural, from a hunger to walk in the fullness of God to the need for healing of our bodies. Ephesians 3:20 above says God is able to not only meet every need we have but He goes beyond that need not one mile or two but infinitely. He wants us to know Who our Father is.

He did not end there. He goes further and says “ all that we ask or think”. That means God does not only go infinitely beyond the needs we have right now, but He is able to exceed even what we can imagine. It means if a vision or need cross your thoughts, it is not only possible for it to become a reality with God but God is able to exceed whatever you can imagine. Brethren, this is our God! Can you believe it? Would you dare to believe the Word? These are not words to excite your mind. This is the Father speaking to you.

MEDITATE

Please take a moment to think through the devotional above. Then meditate , that is, spend some think thinking about the verse above and then say it out loud as you allow it to sink into your heart.

APPLY THE WORD

This is a challenge from God to you. How far can you stretch your faith? God is telling you to dream big with Him, and He will exceed whatever you can imagine. Get up, stir up yourself, and stretch faith to see big things about your spiritual life, ministry, finances, business, etc.
