What to do when temptation knocks at your door!
No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, that you may be able to endure it. (1 Cor. 10:13 NAS)
Trials and temptation are part of our walk here on earth. If they do not come today, they will pass by tomorrow! Satan tempts us to fall into sin. God  allows trials to strengthen and perfect us.
The verse above gives us the mindset of a victor in moments of temptation. It  teaches us that when temptations come, God “will provide the way of escape also, that you may be able to endure it”. It means when we find ourselves in a tight situation, an adversity from Satan, God already has a package detailing how you will come out of it! When Satan launches a temptation, God accompanies it with a way of escape, so that you can handle it and come out successfully! It means the temptation comes on already defeated! That implies there is a way out already created for us with every adversity. We only need but to look closely to find the way. That should bring some rays of hope when we are in a dark corner.
MEDITATE
Are you going through a tempting moment? Look at your circumstances in God’s light right now. Take a moment and think that God has made a way of escape for  you.
PRAY
Thank God that He already has a way out for us in every situation. Ask Him to open your eyes to see your way through the storms.
ACT NOW!
Look again! Can you see the way out that the Lord has created? Take a step of faith this moment, and begin to thank God for the way out of the challenge you are facing right now.
