Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men (2 Cor. 3:2 KJV)
Scholars have worked tirelessly over the years to translate the Bible as accurately as possible. These translations vary in quality, which is part of the reason why some are more useful than others. Which is the best translation of the Bible from the original Hebrew and Greek language? It may surprise you that this translation is not what many of you might be thinking right now.
The various English translations are seeking to communicate the thoughts and words of God from the original languages to the English readers. By so doing, English readers can read and know of God’s plans, purposes, nature, counsels etc. However, God, in addition to literal translations, has a higher way of communicating His plans and purposes. He wants to use your life to describe His nature and purposes to those around you. No Bible translation can communicate God’s thoughts as much as you can as the Word lives in and through you.
The Apostle Paul says in the verse above that the Corinthians were an epistle or letter that is being read by all those who were around them. You are a letter Jesus has written by His Spirit in a language that transcends all human languages which can be read and understood by all men. Your life is the best translation of the scriptures. God wants you to translate His love, power, salvation, etc., from the original language of heaven to be read and experienced by the men and women around you.
What is the “ink” that God used to write the letter called “you”? ( You can put your name here!). See 2 Cor. 3:3.
