Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.(Hebrews 11:3, KJV)

God framed the universe with His Word and has bestowed that same divine instrument upon us. It’s more than spiritual jargon; Scripture provides us with the provisions to alter any circumstance we face. These provisions, which I call the two Ps, are prayer and prophecy.

Let’s delve into the first P, prayer, a secret to harnessing the highest control center of the universe:

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16, KJV)

God extends an invitation, urging us to “come” and obtain mercy and grace in times of crisis or difficulty. We approach Him in prayer, fortified by unshakeable faith in His goodness, mercy, and grace. When mastered, this ‘throne-room prayer‘ technique holds the potential to revolutionize any situation.

The second P, prophecy, is not merely about a prophet’s decree over you but the Spirit-inspired declarations you make over your life. Words wield power in the spiritual realm and shape our realities. God, too, created the world through His words. So, prophesy to the dry bones of your life:

“Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.” (Ezekiel 37:4 KJV)

Jesus illuminated the path for us, showing we could speak to mountains and command life into our dry bones( Mark 11:23). Anyone who harnesses faith and the ability to pronounce God’s Word equips themselves with a transformational tool.

Instead of succumbing to despair, learn to shape your world with ‘throne-room prayer’ and prophecy.

Dwell on this truth: the Word of God framed the worlds.

Apply the Word

Life will certainly present us with challenges. Knowing how to respond to these trials and command changes is pivotal. Activate the two Ps—immerse yourself in prayer and start prophesying.

Pray

Seek guidance from the Father on the steps needed to shift the tide in your current situation.
