Nothing can stop your light from shining

And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. (Jn. 1:5 NAS)

When Jesus came into the world as the Light sent from God to lighten the world, the darkness on earth could not contain Him. The darkness could not even understand Him. He was beyond the darkness. He is no longer on earth. When He left, He told us that we are the light of the world. Not a different light, but the same Light that He is, because our Light is Him.

You are the light of the world, and the darkness that is around cannot stop you. Light gives direction. Light reveals what is not known. Light brings joy and hope. The only thing that is stopping the world from self-extinction from its own wickedness is you and me as the Body of Christ. We are the restraint of evil on earth. We are the reason there is a still a sense of good and evil, right or wrong. There are evil things that will not happen because you are in that neighborhood or school. You are the light, to bring direction, hope, joy, and awareness of God in your environment. Your light cannot be contained by the world. Keep shining.

MEDITATE

Think on the verse above. The light that is in you cannot be stopped. The same victory Christ had over evil is what you have today. Declare those words upon yourself.

PRAY

Ask the Father to help you continue to shine brighter and brighter each day.

ACT NOW!

Do not be afraid- the devil knows he cannot defeat you. You have already overcome the world and all its system. There is no new battle to fight. You only have to enforce the victory. Let these words energize you today to live boldly in all aspects of your life. Have a different mindset, that of a victor in all things involving you including your spiritual life, health and wealth.
