But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. (2 Cor. 3:18)

As a believer, you are always at a particular level of glory each day. The glory of God in your life is the manifestation of God through you, seen from your spiritual life,  relationship with others, ministry, to your health, family, or career. For example, the wisdom, love, and power of God can shine forth through you to those around you. Believers differ in their level of glory. The degree of manifestation of the excellencies of God is the degree of glory you are living in. And there are higher levels of glory ahead for us to express.

God has designed your life to move from glory to glory, every day. The scripture says “the path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day” (Prov. 4:18 NIV). You are not designed for a life of stagnation or regression.  As the morning sun gets brighter and brighter, so your life as the righteous of  God is designed by God to move from glory to glory, from one degree of brightness to a higher level.

There is a secret to this ever-progressive life that is from glory to glory. It is seen in the verse above: “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord” (2 Cor. 3:18). We all want to see our spiritual lives and ministries move from glory to glory. How would you like to speak with more of God’s wisdom than you did yesterday? Or live in more power, love, kindness, mercy, prosperity, or health? The secret to experiencing this change is seen in the word “beholding”. As you behold or look, you become changed to become what you see. The secret of an ever-increasing and progressive spiritual life is to constantly see Christ, the very glory of God in you. We see Him, not with our physical eyes, but the spiritual eyes of revelation in His Word. As Christ is revealed to you daily in His Word, you become more like Him with each new revelation. As a matter of fact, this new revelation of the Word has already shown Christ to you in His Word and you will take a step to a higher level of glory in your life as you take a hold of His Word!

Apply the Word

As you meditate on the Word, the Spirit shows Jesus to you with every new revelation and you become what you see. You cannot afford to not see Christ constantly, because your light will grow dim, not to even mention it stop shining altogether. Augment your life daily by constantly receiving His Word.!

 Pray that the Father will grant you the grace to see insight in the verse above and take a hold of it.
