Expect to see God in the flesh
“Even after my skin is destroyed, Yet from my flesh I shall see God; (Job 19:26 NAS)
Job said the words above in the midst of his troubles. Those words were prophetic. Thousands of years after he said them, Jesus showed up on the earth-the Word became flesh and dwelt amongst us. The most amazing aspect of our Christian lives today, compared to the Old Testament saints, is that God is now dwelling within us and living on the earth. To “see God in the flesh” simply means to experience God in the realm of the senses-that is experience God in our this physical, natural world.
God wants us to know that He is very present with us in the midst of our day-to-day activities, here and now. That is the essence of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. It is God in the daily routines of His people.  Expect God to show up in your home, job, business, social challenges, health, etc. When you are at work and feeling confused and exhausted, God wants you to expect  Him to show up with wisdom to guide you. When you need a financial breakthrough, expect God to show up with concrete solutions on how to get you out. Religion makes us place God in a box inside of us that keeps Him away from the daily affairs of our lives. It says “God can heal your body but do not expect much out of it”.We must resist this temptation because Jesus is still the same yesterday, today and forever. Speak like Job did, that you will see or experience God in the flesh.
MEDITATE
Think on the depth of the truth above-seeing God in the flesh. Allow the Spirit to probe inside of you now. Is your relationship with Him made up mainly of doctrines, beliefs and things you accept and hold dear, or are you also seeing God in the flesh?
PRAY
Ask the Father to teach you what you need to know and do to begin to see Him manifested in the daily aspects of your life.
ACT NOW!
The God that lives in you is the Holy Spirit. Learning to yield to the Spirit is your key to experiencing God on the earth. It will make the difference between a dead and boring Christian life or a vibrant and living life with results. If you want your life to be a daily miracle, learn to yield to the Spirit of God. Trust and submit yourself to His leadership. The greatest foundation for yielding to His Spirit is by abiding in the written Word already given to you. Expect to see God show up in the affairs of your life today.
