The knowledge of God will upgrade your life
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, (2 Pet. 1:2)
The spiritual level you function in and the authority and grace at work in your life at any level are directly proportional to the knowledge of God you have. Knowledge is a key that accesses higher levels in the realm of the Spirit. When we upgrade a software or the operating systems of our mobile devices, we incorporate new information from the company that maintains the software and our mobile devices are upgraded to function at higher performance level. The knowledge of God will upgrade your life in a similar way, from your personal walk with God to your ministry, finances, relationships, career, and family.
If God wants to give you the mastery over your health or finances, He will bring new revelation and insight to you. The rich continue to get richer because they KNOW and DO what the poor do not. The reason we do not have engineers in doctor’s offices is that we understand that specialized knowledge gives a man the capacity to function at a particular level in life. The right engineering knowledge and skills will make a man an engineer. The place of knowledge takes on an even greater and even critical role in the realm of the spirit. The Lord says “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge “(Hos. 4:6). We must not take this scripture religiously, for the Lord means what He says. His people, that is you and me, suffer unnecessarily under the oppressive hands of demonic powers, poverty, sin, diseases and even fear because they do not have knowledge.
God’s Word brings the spiritual knowledge we need to have the mastery in life. One of the endeavors you can ever undertake that will impact your life the most is to resolve to know God more. It will change your life completely. We often underestimate the power of spiritual knowledge. The truth is that many believers have a disappointingly scant knowledge and revelation of God and the things of the Spirit. Upgrade your spiritual life, ministry, relationships, finances and career with new and higher knowledge of God today.
MEDITATE
The Word in your mind and mouth (1 Tim 4:15; Josh 1: 8)
Meditating on God’s Word gets it into your spirit. It is the Word in your spirit, and not your mind, that will produce results. Ponder and mutter God’s Word.
PRAY
Water the Seed( word) to grow. Invite the Spirit’s strength! (Isa 32:15; Zach 4:6)
Pray the Apostle Paul’s prayer in Eph 1:15-18 that God will give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, and open your eyes to begin to see wondrous things out of His Word.
APPLY THE WORD TODAY!
Your door to a blessed life today is doing God’s Word. Refuse to be a hearer or reader only! (James 1:22-26)
Reading this devotional is a witness your spirit is hungry for a revelation of God’s Word. Take it further. Make plans on how to increase your knowledge of God. Do not let it be passive and accidental, only when you have “the time” because believers like that also have “accidental spiritual lives”. Revelation knowledge of God’s Word stands between you and your next level of life.
