How God Gave Joseph a Breakthrough Using His Gift

Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh (Genesis 41:14 KJV)

God used Joseph’s gift of interpretation of dreams to promote him from the prison to the throne in Egypt. This devotional discusses how God created a setup for Joseph to use his gift and obtain the breakthrough of his life and destiny. Please pay attention to what I discuss below because that breakthrough you are looking for might come in a similar, though not exact, manner.

God carefully orchestrated the setup for Joseph to exercise his gift. In other words, the Lord divinely set up a need that only Joseph could meet. He did this by giving Pharaoh a dream that none of his magicians could interpret. In doing so, God was setting up Joseph for a major breakthrough. Therefore there are some of you reading this devotional that God has set up for a significant spiritual or material breakthrough; there is a problem or need around you, carefully orchestrated by God so that you can solve and be catapulted to your next level.

Joseph interpreted Pharoah’s dream and walked out of prison to the throne. His breakthrough came forth when the divine setup collided with the faithful use of the gift God gave him. Remember, however, that Joseph was not sitting and waiting for Pharoah to dream; he was already interpreting prisoners’ dreams while in prison. He was already using his gift to help people.

When the divine setup meets the use of our gifts, a mighty breakthrough will result.

Whether your gift is spiritual or natural, God will use that gift to make way for you. The key is that Joseph was in God’s will and was faithfully using his skill to serve people. Open your eyes and see the divine setups around you for a mighty breakthrough. Once you see them, faithfully use God’s gifts to walk into your breakthrough.

Ask the Father to help you discern the divine setups around you and use the abilities in you to trigger a mighty breakthrough.
