How Angels Celebrate Christmas in Heaven
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, Good will toward men (Luke 2:13–14 KJV)
Envision the heavens on the night of Christ’s birth—a tableau of celestial jubilation and divine merriment. Christmas, marking this wondrous occurrence, ushers in joy on earth, mirroring the exultation in heaven. Luke 2:13 vividly depicts this heavenly festivity: angels, in a multitude, exalting God, their voices amplifying the jubilant tidings of the Savior’s advent.
When the angel proclaimed Jesus’ birth to the shepherds, God opened their eyes and ears to see and hear the angels in heaven praising God. In essence, heaven was abuzz with celebration—resounding with joy, praise, and angelic song. Thus, our earthly Christmas revelries mirror the angelic jubilations.
