Dwelling in God’s presence 24/7 continually
And raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus, (Eph. 2:6 NAS)
One of the great blessings of grace is God’s presence. In Exo. 34:19, Moses said God’s presence should be with them as a proof that they have found favor with Him. Any grace that the Old Testament saints enjoyed was only a shadow of the real thing that was to come in Christ Jesus.
The scripture above teaches us that we are seated with Christ in the heavenly places, in the very presence of God. We dwell there 24 hours every day, 7 days every week, but it does not end there. He is also dwelling here with us 24/7. We are in Him, and He is in us. The Holy Spirit dwelling within us is God’s perpetual abiding presence. He has promised not to leave us nor forsake us: This is grace. You might wonder “How on earth is it possible that I am in presence of God now while I am still here on earth”. Remember, man is a spirit being, living in a body. The spirit does not have the geographical restrictions that the body has. Spiritually, you are in God’s presence, and you can train your soul and body to perpetually live there too! Let this truth sink into you, that you are in Him, and He is in you, here and now.
MEDITATE
Meditate on our verse above. Think about the meaning of being with Him in the heavenly places now. See yourself there.
PRAY
Thank the Father for the grace that we enjoy, the blessing of God’s presence 24/7. Praise Him for being in you today.
APPLY THE WORD TODAY!
You are in God’s presence, and that is where your identity comes from. God’s presence dwells in you, and you can see it manifested here and now, 24/7. Be conscious of His presence today. Talk with Him constantly, knowing He is truly there with you. When you come into a room, God’s presence comes into the room along with you. Be conscious of who you are, and learn to start living constantly with this consciousness.

How do we treat the temple we come into to praise and worship and be in his presence `
Hello Alicia. Thank you for visiting and for question! I want to ensure I correctly answer your question so please help me understand further what you mean by “how do we treat the temple…..” Is that asking how we should value, behave in or respect our Churches as the house of God?
