When I See The Blood

And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. (Exod. 12:13 KJV).

when i see the blood

Just before they left Egypt, the Lord instructed the Israelites to kill the Passover lamb, and apply the blood on their door posts. As every Egyptian firstborn died that night, the angel of death passed over the homes whose doorposts were smeared with blood.

The real Lamb of God has already been slain for the sins of His people, and His blood has been applied upon the door posts of your house! As a believer, there is a covering of the blood over you, to protect you from the angel of death and the destroyer- Satan. There is certainly a lot going on in the world today, but as a believer, you must find your refuge in the blood. You are covered.

The Word tells us that “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty” (Ps. 91:1 KJV). God’s secret place to hide from the destroyer is in Christ. His Name is our strong tower; His blood is our covering. All we have to do is to trust His covering. We live on earth as human beings, but children of God are under a different covering. As the destroyer moves over the earth, your faith in the blood will be your ticket to safety.

Think for a moment about the truth that the blood of Christ is your covering. Declare that “I am covered, protected, and preserved by the blood of Christ”.

Get the revelation of the reality regarding the covering of His blood. Believe it. Declare it over your life.

Thank the Lord Jesus for shedding His blood and laying down His life for you.
