And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away (Mk. 11:21 KJV)
The latent period is used to describe the time between the infection by a microorganism such as a virus and the onset of its signs and symptoms. Symptoms usually do not start at the same time that a person contracts an infection. The importance of the latent period lies in the fact that though a person already has the disease, he or she will not know it because there are no symptoms. The same is true of faith. Jesus cursed the fig tree above, and it took some time for the tree to show physical signs of death.
The latent period of faith is the time between receiving from God( which is spiritual) and seeing physical manifestations. God relates with us in our spirit. Our spirits first receive from God, and then the natural demonstrations follow. Sometimes, the two occur simultaneously with an instantaneous physical manifestation. At other times, there might be a latent period, depending on factors which are mainly determined by the individual and sometimes by the Lord. So the spirit man can receive something from God though the body and mind do not yet experience it. Faith receives from God and pulls it from the spirit to the natural. Many people lose their miracles because they walk by sight. Their faith is controlled by what they see physically. As long as God is concerned, you received it from Him the day your spirit received it. It is our responsibility to stay in faith and compel the physical to align with the spiritual.
Is it possible to receive from God and not yet have it show up in your life physically? Is it possible you might have lost a miracle because you did not see any physical changes and therefore let go?
