Supernatural healing through natural means
And Isaiah said, Take a lump of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered (2 Kings 20:7 KJV)
King Hezekiah had a severe and terminal illness, probably due to sepsis from an abscess. The Lord sent Isaiah to tell Hezekiah he will die from that disease, but when Hezekiah prayed, the Lord heard him and sent Isaiah to heal him. Isaiah did something quite strange to heal Hezekiah. He instructed that they take a piece of cake made from figs and put it on the boil. They did that, and Hezekiah was healed.
A question to ask at this juncture: was it the cake of figs that healed Hezekiah? Yes, in those days, people ascribed medicinal properties to figs, but Hezekiah’s healing had nothing to do with the figs’ medicinal properties. It is not as though God saw the medicinal properties of the figs and used it. Let me illustrate it with a few examples.
Jesus once healed a blind mind by spitting on the ground and putting mud on his eyes. Surely, spittle and mud do not have medical properties. Elisha commanded Naaman with leprosy from Syria to go and wash in Jordan and the dirty waters of river Jordan completely healed him. There were no medicinal properties in the Jordan River.
This is the point: God sometimes chooses to pass through physical things using prophetic instructions to bring about the supernatural. God can use your doctors and their medications and surgeries to bring about divine healing in your life that is far beyond what medical science alone can accomplish.

Why does God instruct us to act and follow prophetic instructions such the one Isaiah gave to Hezekiah?
APPLY THE WORD
God sometimes uses natural things to bring about the supernatural. He does not always but often does. Be sensitive to follow His instructions. God does not need medical science to heal you, but He can sometimes use the hands of doctors to perfect healing in your body.
PRAY
Ask the Father to make you sensitive to the instructions He is given you in any aspect of your life, whether in your health or finances.
