Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ (Ephesians 4:13, KJV)
The next major move of the Spirit will be the move of glory. This glory will not be some bright light, fire, cloud, smoke, etc over churches or believers. Yes, these physical manifestations might occur, but that is not what this coming glory is all about. The move of glory that has already started is summarized in Eph. 4:13. It is believers living in the measure of the fullness of Christ. In other words, Christ so completely filled His people that we become visible manifestations of God on the earth. The world is waiting for the manifestations of the sons of God!
What do we need to align ourselves with this move? The glory of God in essence is God Himself being expressed or manifested. Asking for the glory means asking to be and live like God, that is, His ways. The mandatory requiring for the move of glory is believers brought to the fullness of Christ and living like God. Being established in the Word is critical. This move is bigger than the anointing or spiritual gifts. It will be a sweeping wave of God’s presence and power and it requires believers to be rooted in the Word and surrendered to His Spirit.
Are you ready for the next move of the Spirit? Please read the verse above, think upon it, and say it out loud to yourself again as you allow its meaning sink into your heart.
APPLY THE WORD
We are celebrating Pentecost this season, yet the majority of believers are not ready for the next move of the Spirit, especially charismatics. Allowing the Word to build you and starting to do it, meaning practicing to live as God does, is your way to prepare for the next move. It will be God fully on earth, so get ready!
Ask the Spirit to help you grow up to the fullness of Christ.
