Far Above All Principality and Might
Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come (Eph. 1:20-21 KJV)
Jesus died, rose from the dead, ascended up on high and sat down at the right hand of God in heaven. When He sat down, He completed the spiritual path for His Bride to follow. The scripture above says He was set at the right hand of God far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named! This list refers to spiritual authorities and powers that rule in the natural and spiritual world.
Jesus is God in the flesh. He was not raised to this position of power and authority as God. He ascended and assumed this authority as a Man. This is so critical for us to understand. The reason is given to us in the verse that follows:
“And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church “(Eph. 1:22 KJV).
He ascended as a Man because He was going to bring men(i.e. both men and women) to be with Him where He is. His Church, made of human beings, has been given this mind-blowing blessing of occupying the place of highest authority that rules everything seen or unseen. You are in a position of highest authority, over all demonic powers of all levels. May your heart take a full revelation of this truth!
MEDITATE
What is the right hand of God as used in the scripture above? Declare that “I am seated far above all principalities and powers and reigning over all circumstances of life”.
APPLY THE WORD
Two things keep you from seeing the power above practically manifested in your life. They are revelation (seeing it) and faith(activating and putting it to work). Invest in the Word, and build yourself up. There is a good, really good life God has called you into.
PRAY
Thank the LORD for the wonderful privilege of sitting with Him in the place of authority.
