The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem (Isaiah 2:1, KJV)
Glory & Grace Daily devotionals this week have been heavily weighted on the prophetic. The same will be true of our live Bible Study this Thursday at 7pm CST and Live Webinar on Saturday 9AM that will be hands-on training on how to hear God’s voice. My purpose is to open your understanding or “eyes” to see that God wants you, every single believer, to understand and walk in the prophetic.
I have taught on a series of “twos” of prophecy. I began with the truth that there are two arms of the prophetic, knowing God’s mind or will(knowledge) and speaking it forth (utterance). I went a step further to discuss utterance in more details and spoke about the two purposes of prophetic utterances. I hope you digested that already because I have another “two” today! I will discuss the knowledge arm and show you the two perceptive avenues of receiving prophetic knowledge.
In Isaiah 2:1 above, the scripture says the “word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw”. Is there something strange in this phrase? Yes, there is! It says Isaiah saw the word. We know, or at least have thought until now, that you do not see words but hear them. Correct? Well, not so with the Word. The Word of God can both be seen and heard! The prophets of old heard or saw either with their physical eyes and ears or with the eyes and ears of their hearts. May the Lord open the eyes and ears of your heart, to begin receiving the Word of God like never before!
What are the three “twos” I discussed in the devotional above about prophecy? Please re-read each of the devotionals if you have not understood any part of it.
APPLY THE WORD
God might speak to you and all you “hear” is an image you see in your mind! The Word can be seen and heard! I pray that by the end of this week, the prophetic will be activated in you and your walk with the Spirit of God will take on a higher dimension. Be sure to tune in to the Live Bible study on Thursday at 7PM CST and keep your questions for the Webinar on Saturday at 9AM CST(GMT 2PM). Please note that you have to register for the webinar and just 100 slots are available, so do on our Facebook Page or website as soon as possible.
Ask the Spirit to open your eyes and ears to His Word in your life.
