Grace enriches your life with heavenly beauty
I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; (1 Cor. 1:4-5 KJV)
In the scripture above, the apostle Paul gives thanks to the Lord for the grace of God given to the Corinthians. Paul was not referring to the saving grace of their salvation experience, where their sins were forgiven and they were made new creatures. The grace in this text was the enrichment of their lives with spiritual gifts. The Corinthian church was full of the manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit. That was grace at work after conversion!
Grace enriches our lives with the blessings of God. The Corinthians were enriched by Him. The grace that has brought salvation to us did not end at our conversion. It does not end its work after we say “I do” to the Lord! John 1:16 talks about “grace upon grace”, where we receive one blessing upon another. The grace of God continues to beautify our lives with the goodness of heaven. Spiritual gift is grace. Healing of our bodies is grace. Financial abundance is grace. A healthy relationship is grace. Deliverance from evil is grace. Grace continues to enrich every aspect of our lives after we get saved.
MEDITATION
Declare this word to yourself that “in everything I am being enriched by His grace in my spiritual life, ministry, relationships, finances and health”.
PRAY
Take a moment right now to thank the Lord for His grace that has come to enrich your life.
ACT
What area of your life has been enriched by the grace of God? Think carefully about this. As you recognize grace at work in your life, give it room to multiply. Grace did not end its work the day you were born again. In fact, that was its beginning! Recognize grace today in your life and give God thanks for it. Then expect grace to show up where you need it today!
