Maintain the fellowship of the Holy Spirit all day long
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. (2 Cor. 13:14 NAS)
Fellowship is simply being together, and communication with each other a critical aspect. God has called us into fellowship with Him, and this fellowship is the lifeline for everything else that happens with us. There is no where better than to be in the place where God is said to “be with you”. Those who will shake the earth, are those who will be in touch with heaven while living here. That is the secret to reigning on the earth.
Fellowship with God is a reality. Christ died to bring us into fellowship with Him again. As a believer, you are no longer separated from God, and even more importantly, you can have direct communication with Him. God the Father lives in heaven. Jesus went up to heaven. But the Father and the Son are present on earth today through the Holy Spirit, and living within the believer. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Father, and also the Spirit of Christ. You enjoy the presence of God through the Holy Spirit, and you will be able to hear Christ’s voice through the Spirit. The fellowship of the Holy Spirit describes the state of being in touch with God, and in conversation with Him. God’s desire for you is to sense and walk in this practical fellowship 24/7. We should develop the consciousness of having the presence of God always, and knowing that we can hear His voice speaking and directing us. God is not far away. He is closer that many realize. Grow in your awareness of your fellowship with Him.
MEDITATE
Take a moment and let the verse above sink into you, as you ponder and mutter it.
PRAY
Thank the Lord for making it possible for our fellowship with Him to be re-established. Ask Him to help you develop an increased consciousness of His presence and communication with you always.
ACT NOW!
I encourage you to take a step of faith today. The instruction is simple- just remember God as often as you can! Do that at work, home, school, where ever you are. Just take a moment every now and then, and intentionally remember that God is living within you. Remember that He is with you, and because He is with you, His voice is not far, and His power is near. See for yourself what this simple activity will do for your spirit. If you cultivate this habit, then you will be practicing the presence of God, and will be setting yourself up for a glorious life.
