Dunamis within Us to Be Activated

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; (Acts 1:8 NASB)

God’s power is the dynamo (an electric power generator) that drives Christianity. We require power to become what God has made us to be, to live the lives He has called us to live, and to do what He has told us to do. Power is essentially the ability to get things done.

The Holy Spirit is the power of God that resides in the believer. He is the same power that raised Jesus from the dead, despite all the opposing powers of darkness. It is translated from the Greek word “dunamis,” which means “inherent power.” There is divine ability operating within us, and the Father wants us to learn to operate in that power.

MEDITATE

The power that resides in us is activated by the Word. As you meditate and fill your heart with the Word, that power is activated. Ponder on the reality that the power of God resides inside of you.

PRAY

Ask the Spirit to help you come to the realization that the power of God is inside of you.

ACT ON THE WORD!

The power of God within us is activated by the Word. As you meditate and act on the Word in faith, that power is then activated and released! Praying in faith is acting on the Word. Speaking mountains in faith is acting on the Word. Begin to activate the power within you!
