“He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water” (Jn. 7:38 KJV).
One of the major challenges the twenty-first century church is facing is that of embracing the ways of the spirit realm. Human knowledge has grown tremendously, and rational thought has slowly crept unawares into the church to become the guide for many believers. The Christian life is not a natural life. Human thinking will produce human results. Divine thinking and ways will produce divine results. If you want to have supernatural results in life, walk by the Spirit of God.
The scripture above says rivers of living water will flow from your belly as a believer. The belly in this scripture refers to the human spirit. That does not mean we should live without brains or heads. You cannot live day by day on earth without your mind. God made it that way. If your spirit must live on the earth, it must go through your mind. God wants you to live from within your spirit, and think, act, and speak under the influence of the Holy Spirit that abides in you. You can think under the influence of the Holy Spirit or under merely natural human thoughts. It’s the same with the words you speak. That is why some people successfully command sickness or devils to leave their bodies while others speak and nothing happens. Train yourself to live from your belly and not your head! The season we are in is for those who will learn to walk in the Spirit.
Meditation is God’s tool to fill your belly! Keep your mind on the scripture above and begin to declare it to yourself.
