All things work together for you

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (Rom. 8:28 )

I remember the days that the Lord first brought the revelation of this scripture to my spirit. This word will establish a  victor’s mindset in you and will free you from being bitter in circumstances or against people whom you think have done wrong to you. First, notice that the scripture above says “all things”. It DID NOT say “the things that God does”. We might be tempted to see this scripture at work only when we think the things that happen to us are from God. “All things”, means all things! That includes those that God directly does on your behalf, those that evil men do against you, Satan’s works against you, your errors, and your mistakes.

You might be perplexed at how this can be. Remember that God is still the Creator. He can use the very nail put on your path to hurt your feet to close a hole in your roof that is leaking! It does not matter what it is that is happening to you. What matters is the God with Whom nothing is impossible! This truth will free you forever. In fact, God wants us to so depend entire on Him, that even when we make errors that hurt us, He wants us to still believe that He is able to use the very mistake we dread and turn it into something beautiful in our lives. The limitation, therefore, lies in how much we can trust Him and not keep our eyes focused on ourselves and the circumstance we are in. Do you know that the woman that David committed adultery with is the mother of Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived?  God rebuked David for his sin, but  David surrendered his heart and life to the Lord and the Lord brought beauty out of the very thing that would have been David’s ruins. That does not mean his sin did not matter. It tells us that God has a chance for every one of us to start again, no matter what might have happened, if we will accept it.

Let this truth sink into your spirit. No man can every harm or hurt you under God’s watchful eyes and succeed in doing so.  In fact, even physical death does not mean we have been conquered!  All things are working for your good, because God, Creator of Heaven and earth, is looking after you and making those things to work for your good!

The Word in your mind and mouth (1 Tim 4:15; Josh 1: 8)

Mediate on that scripture above until your spirit has taken a hold of it. I will encourage you to mutter it, say it to yourself again and again and allow that Word take root in your heart.

Water the Seed (word) to grow. Invite the Spirit’s strength! (Isa 32:15; Zach 4:6)

Praise the Lord for the wonderful life He has given us! Thank God for the blessing of faith in Christ, and the victorious life we have in Him. Ask the Spirit to enable you to trust Him in all things, including those you caused yourself.

Your door to a blessed life today is doing God’s Word. Refuse to be a hearer or reader only! ( James 1:22-26)

If you are in a situation right now that makes you anxious about what will happen, it is the perfect scenario to apply this word. Has someone done something to hurt you, and you are currently depressed or very bitter about it? Or have you just made a mistake that is haunting you? God’s word to you now is saying that even this situation can turn out for your good, not because it is good, but because your Father is the  Creator! Trust God’s Word, even if it doesn’t make sense to you. Let go the regrets and replace it with praise for God’s goodness. Abandon the bitterness now against that individual and start thanking God for His wonderful ability to make all things work for your good. Does this make sense to your mind? No! But that is God’s word, and it does make perfect sense in the realm of spirit. Just believe and do what He says.
