Believing is receiving

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them (Mark 11:24)

When do we receive what we ask from God?  The answer to this question will change your faith walk forever if you get a revelation of it. Receiving from God is a spiritual thing. Our spirits receive what we ask for from God. We receive the moment we ask and believe. Believing receives from God instantaneously. This revelation will change your faith walk and prayer life.

A major error in the faith walk that believers are often caught in, is to think that we receive from God when we see the physical manifestation. There is a difference between receiving from God and seeing the physical manifestation. If you ask God for provision for a project,  you receive the same instant you are praying and believing. You may not have the money physically in your hands, but you have already received it in your spirit from God. As far as God is concerned, it is yours. You move from believing to knowing that you have received, and then live like one that has received. It is only a matter of time. Notice the certainty with which Jesus says we will receive from God “For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened ( Mat 7:8). Everyone that asks God will receive. Receiving from God is no longer an issue.

You can imagine the number of miracles which are lost because we receive and not know we have received but rather give unbelief a way to steal our miracle. Some of you reading this devotional now already received from God what you are currently praying and even fasting about now about a year ago. God wants you to quit asking and believing and step into knowing you have already received. If you have received, then act like one that has received! Take a hold of this truth. Your life of faith will never be the same. The fact that you do not have the physical manifestation now does not mean you have not received!

The Word in your mind and mouth (1 Tim 4:15; Josh 1: 8)

Take a moment to think deeply and confess repeatedly the verse above.

Water the Seed (word) to grow. Invite the Spirit’s strength! (Isa 32:15; Zach 4:6)

Thank God for His faithfulness. Everyone who asks receives, Jesus says.

Your door to a blessed life today is doing God’s Word. Refuse to be a hearer or reader only! (James 1:22-26)

Can you step into faith today, from believing? Can you begin to praise God for your miracle that you asked for before you see the manifestation? This is faith. Did you ask? Did you believe? Then you received! If you received, then what next? Rejoice!
